Welcome to the DESERT PLACE! If you are a child of God, and are being led by the Spirit of God, you will occasionally find yourself in a Desert Place.
In Mark 6:31 Jesus tells His disciples: “And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.” At times God takes us into a desert place to be refreshed. Yes, a desert place! It is a place where natural water is scarce, but where spiritual water flows. It is a place where we experience the manifestation of the power of God. In the desert He becomes our Water (Isaiah 43:19), food, shelter. It was in the desert that Moses found God and received his commission. It was in the desert that the Children of Israel became a nation strong enough to defeat their enemies and possess the promised land. It was in a desert place that Jesus fed the 5000 supernaturally. When you find yourself in the desert place, SHOUT, for, if you wait patiently for the Lord, you shall surely see the Glory of God. Thank God for the DESERT! Be Encouraged, you shall make it one more day!! “Wait on the Lord and be of good courage, for He shall strengthen thine heart, wait I say on the Lord.” Psalm 27:14.
